I have a feeling that's because 95% of Supra owners upgrade everything except the things that give them enough traction to actually make their ET's match their HP.

My car has factory intake with K&N drop in filter, no hard pipes or intercooler upgrade and stock down pipe(only the o2 housing was replaced) for obvious reasons.

    the changes:

Evo 9 turbo on custom manifold, bigger injectors for E85 and 3" catback

    or this kind??

    Mods:

K&N box filter, exhaust manifold and O2 housing for Evo9 turbo, injectors, DynoJet CMD, 3" catback, and a tune.
Factory intercooler and pipes, as well as intake and down pipe.

I fall in the 5% where 1/4 time don't matter to me. Standing mile run is the new 1/4 mile to me!

People will buy the 3.8 for out of the box performance, the turbo for boost and a 15-16 second quarter mile depending on if if the ecu goes into limp mode or not. Naturally aspirated v6 tiburons run away from a slightly modded
    2.0t which is pathetic.
I'm getting 23psi @ 3k rpm. What's so wrong about the graph? LOL

My SLIGHT (or should I say SIMPLE) mods are: manifold, evo 9 turbo, O2housing, lines and shields to make it work; injectors, E85 and a tune ($2k worth)... Simple and inexpensive things to do on an already turbo car.

No changes in intake, intercooler, I/C pipes, and factory 2.5" down pipe. 3" catback

**As soon as I get a clutch I'll do a 1/4 mile pass.

    Tim,

Where u been hiding? How's that beast running? How many ponies you putting down?

Oh, and BTW... my turbo kit was built and tuned with ELITE.

I've been around, It put down 340 on e85 but I broke an axle my first pass this summer. Went back to stage 2 and pump gas for now. It's a lot better driving on the streets that way.

What are your plans for the coupe now? Is the exterior stock yet?

There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down. You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'. Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is sai and done, it's the doers who change this world...

yeah... all stock outside. So far, I have no plans of doing aesthetic changes on it.

Plans are: get a clutch, forge internals, up the boost

but i'm broke for that now so we'll see!
